On September 27, 2022, Viña Morandé marked a milestone in its history with the inauguration of Bodega Aventura, a space that fully embodies the innovative and exploratory spirit that has defined the winery from the beginning. This winery is not just a modern engineering marvel, equipped with the highest technology for wine production, but it also represents the DNA of the winery: going beyond, experimenting, and pushing the boundaries of tradition. 

With over 25 years of experience, Viña Morandé has maintained a strong commitment to Chilean viticulture, continuously striving to create authentic wines that express the true potential of the country’s terroirs. This commitment has been realized through deep research of the soils, an understanding of the climates, and experimentation with grape varieties, including heritage grapes that have been part of Chile’s legacy for generations. 

Under these ideals, Bodega Aventura was conceived and built in the heart of the Cachapoal Valley, in Pelequén. This winery, embedded in the earth, was designed to minimize environmental impact. Being partially underground not only preserves the natural surroundings but also uses gravity in its production process. This gravitational design allows for a gentler handling of the grapes, improving the quality of the wine while significantly reducing energy consumption—an important aspect of Viña Morandé’s commitment to sustainability. 

Since its inauguration, Bodega Aventura has been a space of constant experimentation and learning. During its first and second years, the winery has tested new grape varieties, experimented with innovative vinification and fermentation techniques, and explored cutting-edge methods for aging its wines. The entire harvest process for the 2023 and 2024 vintages took place in this winery, allowing the team to test the capacity and functionality of this state-of-the-art facility. 

For Viña Morandé, Bodega Aventura is not just a winery but a symbol of the path to the future: a commitment to quality, innovation, and respect for the environment. After two successful years, the winery looks ahead with excitement, ready to face new challenges and create unique wines.
